It started drifting to the southeast and when I finished my walk it was completely gone :(

Evolution of a Cumulonimbus
I took a two hour walk today and was delighted to have this cloud to watch!
There is definitely going to be lightning somewhere...This cloud has reached 40,000 ft. where the cirrus are! I love when the thin ice crystal clouds "wash over" the tops of them.

A few minutes later the ice crystal cloud has melded into the rest of it making it look smooth on top.

After this afternoon's storm
There were lots of interesting clouds today! This one was so pretty with the sun starting to set.
The top of yet another Cumulonimbus...
The sunset turned out to be spectacular! Lots of different layers to catch the colors.
Ominous and beautiful at the same time...kind of like me hahaha just kidding. I'm just ominous! :)

It was really hot and hazy this day. There was a thunderstorm behind this that you couldn't see until it was right on top of you!
