Camel's Hump engulfed in snow clouds

This picture and the next are of the opposite side of the Lake. It is so weird how one side can be so different than the other weatherwise. This side was much less choppy and the sky was much bluer. Very weird! Note the diagonal slant of the snow coming down in the distance! It looked awesome in person.

Morning Front

Last night was the craziest December 1st weather I have ever seen! First it was 63 degrees and windy as all Hell during the day and then it dropped down to low 40's upper 30's at night and we had an intense thunderstorm! It poured for quite a while and the lightning was bright purple!! Then this morning you could see the edge of the front moving out:

Foggy Hill

It has been such odd weather here in Vermont lately! Warm, almost balmy days, and chilly nights. That equals a lot of fog!! Its also been raining a lot and the nice sunny days are few and far between. Today is a perfect example of that! Not much to take a picture of. Yesterday was in the 60's but I had to work all day so I didn't get to see/feel any of it. Wah.

The Beauty of Thanksgiving

The evening of Thanksgiving had one of the prettiest sunsets I've seen in a while. Having the exquisite view of the Green Mountains (including Camel's Hump) from my Grandmother's house in Graniteville, VT really made it riveting.

Vintage Clouds

I have been taking pictures of the sky ever since I was given my first camera. The following pictures were taken in my hometown of Grand Isle, Vermont. I don't have a scanner so I just photographed my photos! I hope to scan more that have a better quality to them soon. I have tons and tons of cool pictures!!

Morning Drive

A very chilly morning!

This was so beautiful in person. It was bright pink as the sun came up and huge! It faded fast and I had to pull over and take a picture before it was too late. Not the best shot but still pretty!

This enhanced picture is of a hole in the sky which let the sunbeams come down. Its over the cemetery which was so beautiful. The lighting was not good however so I couldn't really capture all the colors on the ground. Still pretty though!

This was at IBM a few days ago. Looks like something out of a video game backgroud. Reminds me of Spyro the Dragon.

This was at 6:15am. The colors were really cool even though its very dark. Ominous for sure!! Rained all day...good day to be at work!

Fall sunset in Burlington

It was almost 70 degrees Farenheit yesterday so I decided to walk from South Burlington to the waterfront in Burlington in the evening. I brought my camera along to try to catch the sunset but of course on foot it takes a little longer to get down there!!! I managed to get these pics from the top of Maple Street in Burlington. Not too spectacular but still pretty. The building to the left is Hauke Center at Champlain College.
